Goss selected for all-star game
Senior Taylor Goss has been selected to play in the North Texas High School All Star Game on June 7. Taylor was a All State player in 2008 and has been nominated for All State again 2009. He will be representing Midlothian High School and the North Texas Region. The game is scheduled for 5pm on Sunday June 7 in the new Air Hogg stadium in Grand Prairie. Congratulations to Taylor for this honor!
Season comes to a close
The Panther baseball season came to an end last night as the Henderson Lions defeated Midlothian, 2-0, in the Area round of the playoffs. Blake Webster pitched an outstanding game, allowing only 4 hits and keeping the Lions hitless through 4 innings. The Lions capitalized on a couple of Panther mistakes in the 5th inning and scored the only 2 runs of the game. Marshall Dudley had the only Panther hit of the night when he smoked a triple to deep centerfield. The Panthers ended the season with a record of 20-10. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year special, and we would especially like to thank the seniors for their hard work and dedication. — Ryan Rodgers
