| THE FRESHMAN BASEBALL team had an excellent year this season. They finished with a season’s record of 18 wins and 2 losses. They won the District championship with a 10-0 record. This team had a great season and displayed teamwork and leadership both on and off the field. This team came together very well and was able to beat the Waxahachie Indians five times this year. Every player on the roster contributed to our success and helped us to a have an outstanding season. The following players led our team in hitting this season: Blaine Blackburn, Cody Cain, Bradley Younts, Bailey Harcrow, Connor Roberts, Taylor Payne, TJ Kratz and Blake Lunday. These young men lead our team in pitching: Kyler Brown, Bailey Harcrow, Bradley Younts, AJ Neal, Taylor Payne, Blaine Blackburn, Connor Roberts, and Daniel Tockhorn. Our defensive leaders were: Connor Roberts, Tanner Gaddy, Colton Thigpen, Trent Newman, Justin Shealy, Justin Gilley, Cody Cain, Taylor Payne, Daniel Tockhorn, Taylor Jones and Blaine Blackburn. |
